Harvey V. Fineberg - President of the Institute of Medicine

  Harvey V. Fineberg is President of the Institute of Medicine. He served as Provost of Harvard University from 1997 to 2001, following thirteen years as dean of the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Fineberg has served as president of the Society for Medical Decision Making and as a consultant to the World Health Organization.   Judith A. Salerno, M.D., M.S., is Executive Officer of the Institute of Medicine. Prior to coming to the IOM, Dr. Salerno was Deputy Director of the National Institute on Aging (NIA) at the National Institutes of Health and directed the Geriatrics and Extended Care programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
