Richard L. Armitage
Mr. Armitage has served as a Director of ManTech since 2005. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Armitage served on our Advisory Board. Since 2005, Mr. Armitage has served as President of Armitage International, L.C., which provides multinational clients with critical support in the areas of international business development, strategic planning, and problem-solving. From 2001 through 2005 he served as the Deputy Secretary of State, and prior to that assignment, he was President of Armitage Associates, L.C., a world-wide business and public policy firm. Beginning in the late 1980′s, Mr. Armitage held a variety of high-ranking diplomatic positions, including as Presidential Special Negotiator for the Philippines Military Bases Agreement; as Special Mediator for Water in the Middle East; as a Special Emissary to Jordan’s King Hussein during the 1991 Gulf War; and as an Ambassador, directing U.S. assistance to the new independent states of the former Soviet Union. Mr. Armitage has received numerous U.S. military decorations and has been awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service four times, and has received the Presidential Citizens Medal and the Department of State Distinguished Honor Award. Mr. Armitage currently serves on the board of directors of ConocoPhillips, a NYSE-listed international, integrated energy company.

In 1997 he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tracor’s subsidiary, Tracor Systems Technologies, Inc. until the sale of Tracor, Inc. to GEC Marconi, Plc in 1998.

Admiral Jeremiah serves on the board of directors for Todd Shipyards Corporation, a NYSE-listed company engaged in shipbuilding, ship overhaul, conversion and repair in the United States. During his military career, Adm. Jeremiah earned a reputation as an authority on strategic planning, financial management and the policy implications of advanced technology. From 1990 to 1994, Adm. Jeremiah served as Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Generals Powell and Shalikashvili.

He currently serves on a commission responsible for monitoring compliance with the Belfast Treaty (Good Friday Agreement).

Minihan spent 33+ years of service in the Air Force, serving from 1996 to 1999 as the 14th Director of the National Security Agency/Central Security Service. From 1995 to 1996 he was a Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Lt. Gen. Minihan is a Founder of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance in Washington, D.C., and serves on the board of directors of BAE Systems, NA, MTC Technologies, Inc., Verint Systems, Inc. and Lucent Government Solutions.

Mr. Porter is Senior Counsel with the law firm of Arnold & Porter, where he has practiced law since June 1993, focusing on real estate, tax and corporate law. Mr. Porter became a certified public accountant in 1961. Mr. Porter currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Washington Board of Trade and is Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce. From 1992 to 1994, he served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a non-partisan public policy institute.

Pedersen holds leadership positions in key industry associations. Pedersen also is chairman of the executive committee and a member of the board of directors of GSE Systems, a public company that is a leading supplier of plant and full scope control room simulators to the nuclear power and petrochemical industries.
In 2005, Pedersen received the James Forrestal Industry Leadership Award from NDIA for his “demonstrated record of business accomplishment” and his active role in “helping to preserve and strengthen the nation’s defense industrial base.” Pedersen was chosen for his “astute business judgment, keen political instincts and a broad understanding of the vital role the industrial base plays in ensuring the nation’s security,” according to NDIA.
In 2006, Pedersen received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital Chapter. The award is given annually to individuals in the region that have contributed significantly to the region’s corporate growth over a number of years.
In 2008, Pedersen received a Federal 100 Award from Federal Computer Week. He was chosen for having a significant influence on how the “federal government buys, uses and manages information technology,” and “for a risk-taking, vision and pioneering spirit in the federal IT community.”

Louis M. Addeo
Addeo is president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Technical Services Group. Before joining ManTech, Addeo was chief operating officer of Serco NA, a subsidiary of Serco Group. Before that, Addeo was the president of AT&T Government Solutions, which provided business information technology and services solutions to federal, civilian, defense and intelligence community customers. Addeo served in a variety of leadership roles during his almost 30-year tenure with AT&T.

Varner is president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions group. Before joining ManTech, he was vice president, corporate officer and executive director of the Intelligence Operations Unit at Northrop Grumman-TASC, which specialized in highly technical engineering and operations support to the intelligence community. While at TASC, his business grew substantially and his team earned Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 certification in software development. He joined TASC in 1978, and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in project, program and line management before becoming a senior executive.

Davis led the marketing efforts for SAIC’s initial public offering and defined the company’s approach for communicating strategy, financial results and market differentiators to the investment community. Before SAIC, he had a number of key financial roles in a career spanning more than 21 years at SRA International, including his last position as vice president and director of investor relations.

Jeffrey S. Brown
Brown is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for ManTech International Corporation, and has been with the company since 1994. He has served as general counsel since 1999 and corporate secretary since 2007. As general counsel, Brown oversees all of the company’s legal matters. He is a graduate of Cornell University and the George Mason University School of Law, and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
