“Mission Statement” – The mission of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Inc. is to help donors create thoughtful, effective philanthropy throughout the world. It is a public charity established in 1991 to facilitate philanthropy and to support the growth of a vital, creative nonprofit sector. It offers maximum flexibility and administrative efficiency to individuals, institutions and groups seeking a nonprofit vehicle for philanthropic grantmaking and for pursuing a variety of charitable activities related to such fields as the arts, science, education, environment, health care, religious interests, and social service. RPA assists donors in achieving their philanthropic goals by offering administrative, financial, and program development support. Its aim is to promote and expand philanthropy by providing members of wealthy families, individuals and institutions with a broad spectrum of flexible, effective, efficient and personalized services so that they may achieve their philanthropic goals.
